North Bay Village
North Bay Village may boast the best of all worlds. It is comprised of two islands located in Biscayne Bay providing tranquility and peace while being a short five-mile drive to some of the most exciting shopping, dining, and cultural experiences in the nation. Once known for its celebrity appeal to the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra, it continues to have a local charm for its small shops and delicious culinary delights.
The western island, although only one island is known by two names. The southern part of the island is called North Bay Island, a beautiful gated community comprised of 154 single-family homes lining just four streets: Coquina, Center Bay, Miami View & Beach View. This part of the western island offers exceptional views of Biscayne Bay on tranquil streets full of lush shade and palm trees. The northern part of the island is called Harbor Island. Its “U-shape” is a boater’s dream providing over two miles of waterfrontage. Every residential property in Harbor Island touches water; including Vogel Community Park on West Drive, named after one of the village’s beloved leaders, Dr. Paul Vogel. This island is also home to some of the newest and most modern luxury waterfront condominiums with names like Eloquence (link to our page) & Cielo (link to our page). If you are a MiMo architecture enthusiast looking for a stunning residence, check out the Biscayne Sea Club (link to our page) on the tip of East Drive. With only 50 residences on 5-acres, lush greenery and its own marina, we have yet to find its equal.
The eastern island named Treasure Island with streets named after Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel, Treasure Island, features its own pirate themed playground. Residents enjoy the playground in the afternoon then head over to their favorite sports bar, Shuckers, for dinner overlooking the bay. Keep a lookout for Dolphin sightings! If you’re looking for a quiet, safe, and peaceful place to live then North Bay Village is a gem.
In addition, the tranquility of Biscayne Bay and Vogel Park add to the calm. Whether you are looking to walk and appreciate the breeze coming off the bridge or looking to enjoy watersports, this is a top destination. Several marinas on the islands like Grandview Palace Marina and Harbor West Marina make water recreation easily accessible. People from all over the world move to North Bay Village as it continues to maintain it’s appeal internationally.
There is something for everyone here. There are high-end luxury homes with beachfront views as well as more traditional neighborhood communities. As a matter of fact, since 2000, there has been a run in the construction of high-rise condominiums on the islands like Cielo On The Bay. Water, a view, and tranquility make North Bay Village a great place to live and that’s why it is rated as one of the best places for Millennials, foreign-born home seekers, and hard-working professionals.
Diversity. Safety. Tranquility. It can all be found here. And, yet, Miami and the Miami Beach are only a quick ten-minute drive away.
